Leányka (VEGAN), 2020

A VEGAN wine with certificate. 

Leányka is the most characteristic white grape variety in the Eger wine region. Wines made from this variety enhanced the city’s reputation through history. Leányka is an ancient grape variety, a „Hungaricum”, which produces fresh, light wines with an individual aroma character. 

The grapes were harvested in the middle of September from 39 years old vines in the Almagyar vineyard. Destemming and a light crush was followed by gentle pressing using a pneumatic press. The must was fermented after settling stainless steel tanks. The wine was bottled on 2nd February 2021.
