It’s a ten minute drive from the centre of Eger to the winery. The location is breathtaking, the winery is carved into the 30 metre high walls of an old stone quarry. The landscape feels like a park. The road leading to the winery qualifies for a scenic drive, but the winery’s location is even more impressive. The quarry is on 3.2 hectares of land with four mine pits which are connected to one another by tunnels. The estate has a most beautiful new winery buidling that can be visited in a combined wine cellar visit and wine tasting tour. There are many other activities, wine tasting dinners, pop music concerts, and the famous FesztEger an event showcasing the best of Hungarian pop and of the alternative music scene too.
