Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the classic Bordeaux varieties but this wine is not particularly French in style, rather somewhere between those produced in Tuscany and California. It’s full-bodied with a creamy texture, capable of long ageing yet also lively, fruity, and well-balanced. It demonstrates that Szekszárd’s loess and clay and the terroir, where Hungary’s Great Plain meets the Transdanubian Hills, is definitely an outstanding area for the production of international red varieties.
